Effective date: January 1, 2026
By using the website at monroviafence.com, submitting a contact or quote request form, calling us, or engaging Master Monrovia Fence ("we," "us," or "our") for fence installation, repair, or related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use our website or services.
Master Monrovia Fence provides residential and commercial fence installation, repair, replacement, and related services in Monrovia, CA and surrounding areas. Our services include but are not limited to wood fencing, vinyl fencing, chain link fencing, aluminum fencing, ornamental iron fencing, gate installation, and fence maintenance services.
We reserve the right to accept or decline any service request at our discretion, including requests that fall outside our service area, our licensed scope of work, or that we cannot reasonably accommodate within a given timeframe.
All on-site estimates are provided free of charge and with no obligation to proceed. A written estimate will be provided before any work begins. The written estimate sets out the scope of work, materials, labor, and total cost.
Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise noted. Material prices, permit fees, and labor costs may change after 30 days, in which case a revised estimate will be provided before work proceeds.
If unforeseen site conditions are discovered after work begins (such as underground obstructions, unstable soil, or undisclosed utilities), we will notify you before proceeding and provide a revised cost. No additional charges will be made without your prior approval.
Service appointments are scheduled by mutual agreement. We will provide a confirmed start date before any work begins. We reserve the right to reschedule due to weather conditions, permit delays, material availability, or other circumstances outside our control. We will notify you as promptly as possible if a rescheduling is necessary.
You may cancel a scheduled appointment by contacting us at (626) 263-8355 or sales@monroviafence.com. Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled start date will not incur any cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the start date, or cancellations after materials have been ordered specifically for your job, may result in a restocking or preparation charge. We will communicate any such charge to you clearly before applying it.
If you need to postpone rather than cancel, we will work with you to find a new date that suits your schedule and ours.
To ensure a safe and efficient job, you agree to:
We are not responsible for delays, damage, or additional costs caused by inaccurate or incomplete information you provide.
Where a building permit is required for your fence project, we will obtain it on your behalf as part of the project and include permit fees in your written estimate. Work will not begin until required permits are issued.
HOA approvals are the responsibility of the property owner. We can advise on common HOA requirements and help you understand what documentation is typically needed, but the approval itself is between you and your homeowners association. We are not liable for HOA fines, penalties, or required modifications arising from information you failed to disclose.
Payment terms are specified in your written estimate and project agreement. For most residential projects, a deposit is due upon signing the project agreement, with the remaining balance due upon project completion. Exact deposit and payment schedule terms will be stated clearly in your written estimate before you commit to any work.
Payment is accepted by check, cash, or such other methods as we specify at the time of your project. Final payment is due upon completion of the work and your sign-off on the final walkthrough.
Overdue balances may be subject to a late fee as specified in your project agreement. We reserve the right to place a mechanic's lien on the property for unpaid balances in accordance with California law.
We stand behind our work. The specific warranty terms for your project will be stated in your written project agreement and may vary depending on the materials used and the nature of the work.
In general, our workmanship warranty covers defects in installation that result in structural failure under normal use and conditions. It does not cover:
Material warranties (such as manufacturer warranties on vinyl or aluminum fence products) are separate from our workmanship warranty. We will provide manufacturer documentation where applicable.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Master Monrovia Fence's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to our services or these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you paid us for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
In no event shall Master Monrovia Fence be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, loss of use, or damage to property beyond the direct scope of our work, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
